THANKS FOR A
GREAT RIDE!
During the recent
National Fall meetings, the National
Executive Committee (NEC) passed
Resolution #24 which directed that
the agreement between The American
Legion and Team Johnson Motorsports
be terminated effective December 31,
2011.
Thus, The American Legion will no
longer be involved with stock car
racing in ARCA or NASCAR. The
NEC felt that although Team Johnson
Motorsports had done a worthy job of
providing The American Legion a
wonderful outreach media, the
overall accomplishments over the six
year effort period did not warrant
further continuance of the program.
Racing fans in The American Legion
will miss having Jerrick Johnson and
Team Johnson Motorsports
representing us and America's
veterans, and wish them success in
all their future endeavors!
